We received our first email / letter from Nathan, it was short and sweet. Nathan is not a man of many words so we are grateful we at least got a letter. He is doing well. He said the first few days were really slow but after Saturday thing really picked up. He enjoyed conference and was able to stay awake during most of it. His companion is Elder Hafen, he is from California and has done a year of school at BYU. His district includes 8 elders. 4 of the elders including Nate are going to Honduras, 2 will be going to Guatemala, and 2 to Nicaragua. He has seen Mason Malan a lot, and has also seen Hawkins, Andre, and Bryce Dalberg. He said the food is ok, but he has ate a lot of chicken in the last week. He said to keep the letters and packages coming.

It has been a whole week!! He is going to be such a great missionary, I'm glad I can keep tabs on him and hear all about it. Charlie prays for him every time he says a prayer, he says, "thank-you for Nate, that he's on his mission!" It's pretty cute. He remembered the night we said good-bye to Nate, all by himself and has remembered every prayer since then. I love that he has a missionary to pray for!!
